Eu ando meio obcecado pela música Time Stand Still, do Rush. Lançada em 1987, do disco Hold Your Fire, um dos que mais dividiram opinião nos fãs da banda.

A música faz uma crítica à rapidez da modernidade, que faz com que não tenhamos tempo para contemplar e aproveitar o presente. Quando percebemos, o tempo passou e temos saudades de um passado que não aproveitamos como deveria. É o mesmo tema da peça Our Town, do Thorton Wilder (livro que mais me impressionou este ano).
